Der S 550 ist der kleinere Bruder von G 500 und S 600. Entspricht diesen bis auf die fehlende Einstellschraube. Damit ist das auch ein höherwertigerer Regler als R 190 – R 390, da balancierter Kolben. Technisch gesehen ist das damit ein Nachfolger des G 200 B.
