Der G 500 wurde als Nachfolger des G 250 konzipiert. De facto hat der G 250 ihn aber überlegt, da der G 500 zum S 600 weiterentwickelt wurde. Die Atemcharacteristik des G 500 gegenüber dem G 250 ist meiner Meinung nach viel angenehmer, das Gehäuse deutlich kleiner. Ein Update auf S 600 ist möglich. Der Umrüstsatz müsste verfügbar sein. Achtung: Es gibt beim G 500 2 verschieden grosse Frontplatten, daher sind die ersten nicht auf die Frontplatte vom S 600 umrüstbar.

The G 500 was concipated as the sucessor of the G 250. In fact, the G 250 survived the G 500 as this reg was further developed to the S 600. If you ask me: The breathing characteristic of the G 500 is superior to the G 250 as it is quite more comfortable to breathe. The housing is smaller than the old G 250. The update from G 500 to S 600 is possible, the upgrade Kit should be available. Attention: There are 2 different (in size) housings of the G 500 - only the newer ones can be updated with the new cover.
